Full time or Part time CHEF for Fika Swedish Kitchen

Fika Swedish Kitchen in Manly is now looking for a Full time or Part time passionate, qualified chef to join our vibrant kitchen team. Fika Swedish Kitchen is located in central Manly. We are open 7 days/week and are currently serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon pastries. As summer is approaching we will be trading with extended hours. This role provides a great opportunity if you wish to grow your knowledge, as you will take part in creating interesting dishes infused and inspired by Swedish cuisine. As this role is full of responsibilities, you need to have experience in the industry. Your duties will include creating new menu suggestions, baking, maintaining a clean environment, ordering and managing other staff members. You need to be able to work both weekdays and weekends. We proudly do all our own baking in house so perferably you have some knowledgde in baking, however this is not essential. The position makes for a lot of involvement in the business and a must is to be committed to your role. Preferably you are a permanent resident or have a visa that allows you to stay and work in Australia for longer than 6 months. As an applicant you should preferably be familiar with Scandinavian cuisine and have some understanding of Swedish culture and traditions.
