About the Role
Are you an experienced IT Project Manager with a passion for delivering top-notch solutions? We're searching for someone who thrives in a customer-facing role, excels in communication (especially in Swedish), and can drive projects forward by collaborating with a skilled team of product owners and analysts. You'll oversee the full lifecycle of projects, from initial scoping to handover, ensuring delivery is on time and within budget. You'll collaborate with technical teams and clients, offering expert guidance on technical solutions, integrations, and changes. While your team includes product owners and analysts who handle the requirements analysis, you'll ensure that their insights align with project goals and customer needs. You'll also play a key role in larger bids during the pre-sales phase and support business development by consulting on potential projects.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects, particularly in public transportation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project scope, goals, and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, analysts, and engineers, to ensure the right solutions are delivered.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, while tracking progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and working toward the same objectives.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, handling issues with a solution-oriented approach. • Provide clear status updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor other project managers, sharing your expertise and promoting best practices.

- Solid experience in IT project management, especially in a customer-facing role.
- Fluency in Swedish and strong communication skills in both oral and written formats.
- Experience working with product owners and analysts to ensure business requirements are effectively incorporated into project delivery.
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders, ensuring project alignment and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience in public transportation tech (fare collection systems, intelligent transportation systems) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) is preferred.
