Student Assistant / Categorization (Proficient in Norwegian/Swedish)

The teamAs Student Assistant you will be part of a team of 14, who maintain and develop one of our IT tools. The tool is called Indkøbsanalysesystem and is used to create an overview of our customers' current spending based on electronic invoices from their vendors. Our customers are based in all the Nordic countries.
We use an international classification system for products and services (United Nations Standard Product and Services Code - UNSPSC). We use this to categorize the items from our customers' invoices and this categorization is supported by machine learning.
The jobIn the job, you will be involved in the process management of the categorization process, and you will ensure that the products and services are correctly categorized using the UNSPSC hierarchy.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Systemizing items using the UNSPSC hierarchy
- Quality assurance of the categorization performed by machine learning
- Participating in the preparation of instructions and implementations
- Finding information about the diverse products and services bought by our customers
- Dialogue with the customers concerning support cases
You will be part of a team located in Århus and Ballerup, but as the job is performed using your computer, you will for the most part be able to choose to work from either the office or from home.
We expect that you will work between 10 and 15 hours a week with flexibility around your exams.
About youThe job requires a structured person with an analytical mindset. A computer is your most valued tool, and you must be able to work structured and independently. You are ambitious, dedicated, and able to drive your own projects. We are looking for a proactive student who wants to create value for our team as well as for the business.
Because most of the input you will receive is from our customers in Sweden or Norway, it is important that you are comfortable reading and understanding Swedish or Norwegian.
Ideally, you are in the beginning of your education, which gives us enough time to make you a valued part of our team. We are looking for students with knowledge within their field, but we are open to different educational backgrounds; you may study to become an engineer, a nurse, or something entirely different.
