A day in your life with us
In collaboration with the Food Manager and our Team Leaders in IKEA Food, one of your key responsibilities will be to create great experiences for guests in the Bistro-through well-prepared food and a high level of service. In the Swedish Food Market, we offer a wide range of Swedish specialties and sustainable products. Your main task here, in collaboration with the store, will be to promote our products, drive sales, generate awareness, and attract new customers to the Swedish Food Market.
You will have direct leadership responsibility for a team of approximately 14 employees. Your daily challenge will be to develop and motivate your team while optimizing sales in the Bistro and Swedish Food Market with a strong commercial focus. The role includes a significant amount of administrative work, such as food safety compliance, hygiene, inventory ordering, and campaign planning. You will collaborate commercially with colleagues across functions and represent IKEA Food in various commercial groups and forums. At the same time, you will be present on the shop floor with your team, driving the department with a focus on sales and service.
You will do this by: • Being outgoing and approachable toward both employees and guests • Ensuring excellent service by working with your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences • Maintaining a clean and tidy environment in the Bistro and Swedish Food Market • Ensuring full compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations • Collaborating with the IKEA Food leadership team and other store functions • Following up on sales figures and identifying opportunities to optimize revenue in the Bistro and Swedish Food Market • Planning campaigns and leveraging all commercial opportunities to raise the profile of the Swedish Food Market
Leadership experience in sales and service is a requirement for this position.

Other informations • The position averages 37 hours per week under an individual contract. Overtime is reflected in the salary. • Working hours are scheduled between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday to Sunday.
